The nation’s sole agency to investigate corruption in the public and private sectors has been in the spotlight in recent months, especially after it emerged that Transport Minister S Iswaran was arrested on Tuesday (Jul 11) as part of a graft-related probe.
Property tycoon Ong Beng Seng, the man who brought Formula 1 to Singapore, was also arrested on the same day by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) in the same probe.
