I'm trying to figure out if our current plan gives us enough room to comfortably use the refrigerator that we have (42 inches wide, counter depth). In this set up, it is approximately 50 inches from the island, 18 inches from the horizontal cabinets, and 25 inches to where the sink begins. Will this be too cramped?
Our other option is to post move the fridge to the bottom wall, but that will make the passage below the island narrower and would violate the kitchen triangle rules (distance and island in the way from stove). Open to other opinions on layout
